The Hooded Vulture

Vultures never have many fans, but without them the eco system would collapse. By ridding the ground of dead animals, vultures prevent diseases from spreading to animals & humans. Vultures are now Critically Endangered. Recently published evidence suggests the population is declining extremely rapidly owing to indiscriminate poisoning, trade for traditional medicine, hunting, persecution & electrocution as well as habitat loss & degradation.
